I received an email this morning informing me that this is the last week for entries to be submitted to the Australian International Beer Awards, the largest such competition in Asia Pacific and one which appears to be growing fast.
For medal-minded brewers, this is worthy of consideration. Sure, there are contests that draw more entries, but it’s rare to find an international one that is so balanced, with close to half of last year’s almost 1,200 entries hailing from regions outside of Australia (and eleven of the fifteen elite Championship Trophies going to non-Aussie breweries). This year, competition organizers are making a concerted effort to attract even more international entries.
For more info, drop by the AIBA website, but do it now, because later might be too late.
